How I can help
Hypnotherapy may help with the difficulties below. I do not claim it cures medical conditions; we will always talk through whether it is a suitable approach for you.
Anxiety & panic
Anxiety can bring constant worry, racing thoughts, tension and sudden waves of panic, and can shape everyday life. Hypnotherapy may help you relax, change how you respond to anxious thoughts and build calmer habits. We begin by understanding your experience, then tailor sessions to you.
Phobias & fears
A phobia is an intense fear of a particular thing or situation that can limit everyday life. Hypnotherapy may help you relax, change how you respond to what frightens you and build confidence at a pace that feels safe. We begin by understanding your experience, then tailor sessions to you.
Low mood
Low mood can leave you feeling flat, tired or stuck, and can affect sleep, motivation and relationships. Hypnotherapy may help you relax, feel more positive and build small practical habits that support how you feel. It can sit alongside, not replace, support from your GP.
Confidence & self-esteem
Low confidence can hold you back at work, in relationships and in how you see yourself. Hypnotherapy may help you challenge self-critical patterns and build a steadier, more positive sense of yourself.
Weight management
Hypnotherapy may support a healthier relationship with food, and help you change habits and responses that make weight management difficult. It works alongside, not instead of, medical and dietary advice.
IBS & stress
Stress can worsen digestive symptoms for many people. Gut-directed approaches and relaxation may help reduce the impact of stress on IBS. Please see your GP first to ensure symptoms have been medically assessed.
Sleep difficulties
Poor sleep can leave you drained and low. Hypnotherapy may help you unwind, quieten a busy mind and build a calmer bedtime routine.
Smoking cessation
Many people have tried to stop several times. Hypnotherapy may help you change your relationship with cigarettes and strengthen your motivation to stay stopped.
Trauma-related difficulties
Past experiences can continue to affect how you feel. I will always assess whether hypnotherapy is suitable, and some people are better supported by specialist trauma therapy first, or at the very least should consider a referral to a local mental health team for an assessment of mental health needs. We would go at a pace that is safe for you.
Stress & emotional wellbeing
Ongoing pressure can affect mood, energy and relationships. Hypnotherapy may help you relax, process difficult feelings and develop practical ways of coping.
